Let’s play sopile and dance with the Šoto Cultural Society
Dear festivalgoers, we invite you to join the Šoto Cultural Society in Baška’s Placa on Saturday at 4 PM.
Their performance, titled Zasopimo i zatancajmo (Let’s Play Sopile and Dance), will be an excellent occasion to learn more about the local tradition and customs.
For the past 25 years, Šoto has been dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the rich cultural and folklore heritage of the Baška region. Their members have put all their efforts and passion into teaching the new generations about the values of safeguarding local history and tradition. This will then be a perfect opportunity to have an authentic cultural experience and enjoy the beauty of traditional music and dances by the society’s younger dancers, accompanied by the sopile players!
