A traditional dessert on the island of Krk made with fresh sheep cheese.

Presnac is a traditional dessert mainly associated with the island of Krk. It is assembled out of a pastry base that holds a fresh sheep cheese filling. Presnac was traditionally prepared during the Carnival season, and the recipe varies slightly from town to town.

One of the most popular and widely available presnac dishes is made by the Vrbnik Bakery, and we would like to thank them for their cooperation.
